Ashley and Allen
I've known Ashley since elementary school. We attend the same church, although she's living out in Pittsburgh now....(If you're from that area you might recognize her from the local news station). I was so excited to take her engagement pictures. They have been together for years. Don't they make such a cute couple?!
Ashley and Allen- I had such a great time working with you! I wish you both the best in all that you do!
We started at Ashley's mom's house- she has a beautiful garden.
We then headed over to the river in a spot where they used to hang out.
Where it all began.........
Check out that rock! Local jeweler Rick Mahonski made it.
We went to Allen's friends' house to catch the sunset. They had a gorgeous view.

Heather
I worked with Heather's mother-in-law for a year-and-a-half before I had my baby (he just turned one...sigh....). She is such a loving and caring woman- she's going to be an awesome grandma! She contacted me a couple of months before Heather and Travis would be in town to do a maternity session. (They are from Tennessee) Heather- I had a great time taking your pictures. You and your husband were fun to work with, and you'll both be wonderful parents.
Out-takes
Well let's face it- not every shot turns out as planned. Like I said in my earlier post from this session, little Nathan did not want his picture taken that day. And once a one-and-a-half year old makes up his mind, there's not much you can do to change it! (Even 3 naps later!) Kids will be kids, which is why I'm always willing to come back a second time if need be.
This is what happens when you let a boy in on a tea party! (Yes- the tea pot did end up broken)This is my son- of course!

Tea for Two
Here's a few more from my day at Cheri's. Watching these two have a tea party was just the cutest thing!
The lid to the tea pot kept falling off into her cup and they thought it was hillarious.
To me this picture looked like it could use some "vintage"processing.

Hannah
This is Rebecca's (Cheri's daughter) best friend. She was such a little model and so well behaved! She was telling me all about her ideas for posing.
Beautfiul Eyes!
I went to my friend Cheri's house this past week for an outdoor photography session of her children. They have such a beautiful yard nestled in the woods. I met Cheri at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and she's become a good friend of mine. I was so excited to take pictures of her children because they have such beautiful eyes! Here's a few from her session.
Little Nate did not want his picture taken that day! I got a few good shots of him, but I'll be going back up to get a few more group shots.
